I would like to hear about it..
And why did we fish in those conditions?? Duh-$$100,000.00+ Dumb again....LOL.

I was there last year........Not a weekend to be in a 20' Bullet running the mainlake, I spent more time in the air than in the water, I thought for sure my motor was gonna rip my transom off. This is why I'm drooling over a 21'-10" RDC! It was a good thing I fished it myself because had I had a partner he would not have been able to stay in the boat with only an "Oh Sh!t" handle to hold on to.

I fished it last year, however never got more then 1/2 mile from the boat ramp.

It wasnt that bad until the rain started coming in sideways..

It was like riding a bull for 2 hours.. LOL

Curious, How was the bite with the hurricane moving through ?

My question is.

Why did the guy driving the Blazer who T boned the Champion last year. Why did he try to sue the estate of the Champion driver whom was killed in the wreck?

Me and my brother have also fished in both of them ,and it was actually some pretty good days for us,but it was some nasty wind and waves ,lots of trailering to weigh in.We will be there again this year.

Actually it was pretty good where we fished, like Mr. Climer said lots of trailering to and from on Saturday.
I was afraid to fish Friday and Saturday where we needed to be, not knowing the possible force of the storm I didn't want to be somewhere around a lot of timber and a limited get away route. Of course Sunday we made the run and the fish were there in good numbers-Naturally.

One odd thing I did observe Saturday, after the weigh in closed back at the house as the storm strengthened craw-dads were all over my yard and driveway some 300 foot from the water front.
I see one now and then that far up, but never in the record numbers we saw that afternoon.
It set us to thinking about matching the hatch so to speak, I found a half empty bag of the prefect size and color of the majority of the C/D's we saw, it was a winner first thing that next morning LOL...

I was there last year. The morning of the hurricane I fished for about 1 hour and loaded up and left. I enjoyed a nice breakfast at Cracker Barrel, and lots of football on TV.
