Thanks!

So yall just take them up there and spray them out? Will this get stains and etc out without tearing up the carpet?

How do yall dry them? Vaccum? towels? Air? I don't want it to end up smelling Mildewy

scrub it with laundry detergent with fabric softener... then drive it to the car wash and wash all the soap out AGAINST THE GRAIN..... make it fluff up and stay soft

If you want to keep the carpet you have the car wash is not a good thing to do just take a spray bottle add viniger and water wet the carpet real good then take a rubber or plastic rake and fluff the carpet good as new do not hose back off the stains will be gone wet vac but always fluff it never straight down.

If I have a stain I will pretreat it with spot shot or other carpet cleaner and I spray it out at the carwash. I spray my boat off after most trips. I just give the carpet a quick once over and mainly focus on the hull and livewells. I let it dry out before putting the cover back on. My cover has plenty of breathing room. I have never had a mold or mildew problem. It makes the boat nice and clean for the next trip. My carpet it 5 years old and still looks good.

+1 you can usually get a decent spot remover from any automotive store. But I almost always spray mine before I leave the lake and by the time I get home it is usually 70-80% dry and I too have never had mold issues but mine is kept in the garage. Hopefully the stains you are referring to are not Spike It stains ugh that stuff is a mess!!!

Be careful if you use vinegar and water. I was told to use it brush the carpet then rinse it off. Some of it got on a battery and somehow got inside the cells.... ruined the battery.

Jack the nose up high, wet down with water hose, scrub with OxyClean, and rinse. Wear gloves with OxyClean...it'll tear your hands up after a while.

I did some red carpet in a Ranger that had sat in a cotton field for 5 years uncovered. Carpet looks and feels great.

I have a 13x35ft storage unit so it is being stored properly, there are just little dirt stains here and there and I was wanting to treat the whole carpet.

Thanks for all the tips and if anyone has anymore please feel free to contribute!
