What do you all think about how this front and the wind will effect the crappie fishing in the mourning?

Not much. Drives me crazy when this happens. I'll just get up and see what NOAA has to say at 5:30. Right now it's lookin' like 15mph winds from the North.

Front came through Norman, Oklahoma Thursday night. Air temp was only 51 degrees Friday when I went out. I still managed to catch about 30 to 40 with 8 keepers. The only difference was that the fish were smaller than the ones I caught on Thursday. Just could not locate the big slabs today.

Welcome to the forum Joe Nabonne. It stayed chilly all day Friday and the wind was something else.....again.

I do have to ask. What are you doing in Norman, OK, when you have all of those great East Texas lakes close to Canton?

I have been in OK since 92 worked for Fleming Companies before they went bancrupt now I work for and attend OU. I work in their IT department, buy am attending OU to get a degree in Zoology so that I can start a wildlife management business. Lucky for me I live 8 miles from Lake Thunderbird which is one of the best crappie lakes in OK. There are so many crappie in it that they had to stock saugeye to help control the population.
