Only fishing report from me is that the Lady Zaida will be back from Lake Park Marine with her steering repaired next week!

Rode my bike down to the ramp at Stewarts Creek Park just now - not much boat traffic at all and the lake is pretty much like glass.

I just got back from lake park for a soccor tourney for my son. The lake was not crowded at all around 1:00 or so. I may go out for an afternoon shift and fish in the trees.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!

I went out with my son today, and what a surprise, it wasnt crowded at all. The parking lot at little elm park wasnt even full. Did I miss a memo or something???
We did manage to catch a few little ones, but for a 5 yr old they were huge!

Think I picked up a case of "Zeekitas". Threw my back out yesterday for the first time and all I can say is "OUCH Chaarlie, that hurts!". This morning is the first time I'm doing anything other than being flat on my back. I dont care if this is Labor Day week, I see the flat wind out my window and I want to be out there. Oh well, got some nice "momma's helpers" to keep the pain down. Lemme know how you do out there, its the only thing close to fishing for me for next ?????? days. Did I say this hurts like &*^$%$&^%#?

Fished today, Labor Day at dawn. Very ligt winds. No birds to speak of. No surfacing. We caught a bunch of small sandies and 4 small drum, one small channel cat. Did not joing the big boat shows. Not as many boats out as expected. Still enjoyed being out there.
