Went out for short run with son and both grandsons (he's their wonderfully crazy uncle!). Stopped at closest good point, which drops off srarply in 3 directions. Saw good fish pattern and parked on top of point where high point is 13 ft. Started catching whites immediately, and the kids picked a target of 40 - then we go back in (and they can get back on xbox to challenge beloved uncle). In a little over an hour we had 38 whites, a 14 inch black and a cat - then back to the house. Everyone's happy! Looks like fishing is picking up. Dennis

Yep! Went out again at 11 this morning and fished a couple hrs with my Sis. She likes #3 Mepps and hard to get her to go with #2's, which is what we've been catching them on. After 2 hrs she had caught 3 and compared to my 27. She finally put on a 2 but by then she was too frustrated and we came on in. Moral of story - you've got to go with what fish want - not what you prefer to fish. Caught ours on three ridges at Key Ranch and 1st point southeast of Crappie Isle. Dennis
