I was fishing east of the jetty at Ray Hubbard this morning and noticed a tree sticking about three inches out of the water. I've never seen it there before and it looked solid, not a floater. It is about 150 yards east of the jetty. I pulled up next to it and marked it on my GPS. If there was not a bird sitting on it, I would have missed it.

That may be the one that I posted about a month ago. I found a tree, not a floater but sticking straight up and down bobbing. It went from east side to west side back to east.I marked it with a 2 litre bottle but last time I saw it the bottle was gone. Thanks for the heads up!

No. The jetty north of the power plant. It was about half way between the peanut and the tip of the jetty.

what do you guys think of this idea? get a 2 lit. coke bottle
paint it red on the inside and keep it in the boat for just this
sort of floating hazard that is too big to move. (to tie on it)

I saw it again today it is the same one I marked with a 2 ltr bottle with 50 lb braid. It's just bobbing all over the lake. If I see it tomorrow I'll just rope it and drag it to shore. If u hit it going full speed it would mess your day up! I'll let yall know If I find it,see yall out there.
