Now supposedly there is "no fishing" in this pond/lake so its exact location will have to remain secret for now, only cuz i don't want yall legalistic morons w/ no sense of adventure checking up on me lol (oh and just so you know, the fish are back in the water as soon as i can get them off my hook ). anyways, each of these fish are from a different night. the last 3 nights i've caught 5 or more of these bass, most of em right around 2 pounds or so. I've only managed to get them to bite during the hour right b4 sunset. Caught em all in the same lil spot on a decent size piece of water. Caught em on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, swim baits, and most succesful w/ a topwater popper. Suposedly there are 8-10 pounders in this decent piece of water. I've seen the pictures from a fellow bank fisherman i ran into out here. Finding them and getting to bite, for me, has been a different story, i am yet to do so. I'm figuring right now they are out suspended in deeper water than i can typically reach from the banks of this water, so I am looking forward to the cooler months ahead. the only reason i've managed to find and catch most of these bass is because they were chasing shad and breaking the surface and then i'd cast over them. Success. Can't argue w/ 5 in an hour on w/ a topwater 2nite 9/4, including the biggest one i've caught on this water yet(the bottom pic) a good 2.5p or so. I've been meaning to get up early and try fishing the morning. If i'm catching right b4 sunset, I'd probably have even more success in the morn here as summer raps up huh??? MY QUESTION IS: Where are you finding bass in pond/lakes this time of year?? And how are you catching them??

That pond/lake is a great place to fish. Bass, cats, or crappie. It's the place to go in Irving as long as you don't get asked to leave.

These ponds ruined bass fishing for me. Is this spot behind the Verizon office off 114? I can't remember the concrete like the others. lol

I usually put on a small crappie jig and drop it down the side of the wall and just walk and jig...walk and jig.
Theres bass out there and catfish too.
