I was planning to go down to Choke on Saturday. Do you think it will be packed that day as well? Looks to me like the tourney is on Sunday, so I'm hoping it will be off-limits for pre-fishing on saturday.

Yeah you will be alright the lake is off limits that day for participants. Still pretty busy on the weekend. But sunday there will be at least 150 boats on there i bet. Hope i get to my honey hole before it gets packed out there.

It's going to be a good tournament. Our club was there a couple of weeks ago and we had 2 - 10's and a 9 weighed in.

It will be a mad house on saturday as well, the off-limits period for that Tournament does not go into effect until 8:00PM Saturday nite. So a lot of people (to include my son and I) will be pre-fishing Saturday.

Look foreward to seeing the results of the tournament. Choke has been great this year, including this summer in the 100 degree plus temps, for BIG fish.

For those fishing the BassChamps tournament this weekend, be partiularly careful of underwood hardwoods. They are popping up all over the place. There are some bad ones just below the surface right before you get to Mason's point if you were coming from Caliaham or the main lake. People usually run wide open through there thinking it's the river channel which is real close. These are not little twigs, these hardwoods are going to put some big holes in boats and knock off lower units. BE SAFE!!!
