The wife and I made the trip to CC today. Fished several Brushpiles and steep drop offs in the 13-16 foot range. Caught 1 crappie. The graph showed baitfish suspended and larger fish under them. We could not get them to bite. We changed to every color in my crappie box with no luck. Next we tried the Black Bass. I found them in about 14 foot of water. The water went from from 10 to 20 foot with a little ledge about 14 foot. We used a carolina rig. Caught 8 Black bass and lost 2 at the boat. It felt good to fish again after 7 months. Did anyone else catch anything at CC today?????

Had a trip today & we did ok. We ended the trip with a nice mess of crappie, two hybrids and a sandy or two. I even broke a pole while pulling in a nice big white crappie off a point. Most all of them were caught in 20-30ft of water. The best bite was early from 7:00-8:00am. I will be out again Sunday & Monday. Wave at me if you see me.

cb327, Duck_Jerky and myself (JIGUM) were out on CC today and faired out well in about 20 - 25 foot of water on drop offs... Let the jig hit the bottom and raise it up about 2 or 3 inches and got bit.... Sorry we didn't run into you, but did see Chuck briefly... Matthew

Matthew One fish = Filets Did you guys fish from Duck's Boat? Did those crappie get to see the "Ernest Special Jig". Sharon, Good luck on Tuesday, the wind should be back out of the south and I think that will be the day before the next front. I usually do better during the weekdays anyway.
