well i started the day at 7:30 am and fished til noon. fished the surf off the seawall.was using finger mullet.caught 10 spanish macks to 29 inches.caught five specks 16 to 25 inches.lost a bunch of smacks.all in all it was a good morning.this is the first day i have been able to fish since i had a liver biopsy.well til next time good fishin!!

where on the surf were you fishing if you don't mind me asking? I know you said off the seawall, but that's like 8 miles of beach. I've not had much luck out there as of late and was wondering if I could get some better advice from a pro..

I am heading down there in the morning. I was gonna go down towards Sea Isle, but if I here another good report from the east end I may scrap driving all the way down there .

fished by the flagship hotel off the rocks on either side.

the trout and smacks have been constant for the past two weeks from san luis pass all the way to the ship channel.there being caught everywhere.

water looked amazing today by the freeport jettys. very very green.

I've heard alot of good fishing at the seawall as of late. what kind of bait were they biting on?

i caught most of my fish on finger mullet and live shrimp
