John,
Last year on Thanksgiving weekend the crappie had already moved out to deep water and stacked up. With this being a mild fall,
i dont know if they will be there this year or not. But if they are there, you will know! There will be 20-40 boats gathered around various humps, just out from the dam.
The humps go from around 50ft up to 20ft or so and most of them are on any lake fork map you buy. Last year we caught most on minnows and a few on jigs. My suggestion is to go to the Minnow Bucket and buy their homemade jigs (he is usually making them when you walk in). They'll tell you the hottest color. IF they are not on the humps yet...the bridges are usually consitant.
Good luck and please post your results!

John,

Probably too late for ya as it's Sat morning, but I highly recomend the Crappie Buster jigs you can get around the lake there. Fork colors are blue/cinimon, pink/cinimon. Lots of luck...let us know if they're deep yet!!
