I'm about to install a Keelshield on my boat and I already have a few small knicks on the keel. I'm wondering if I should repair these before I install it, or will the Keelshield protect them ok? Any help would be appreciated!

No need to repair unless your nicks are over 1/8" deep or your keel is leaking. If you have more questions feel free to call me at 888-594-5335. I'll be at the shop for a couple more hours.

Thanks Scott for the quick reply. I'm glad I went with the quality product. Now I can put it on this afternoon.

Hey I have had my Keelshield for two years now and I must say I am impressed with it. I won it in a tournament and it is a life saver, well boat saver. Simple to install and great peace of mind when you pull right up on the bank for those weigh-ins. Great product Scott
