explanation
the guy might have got out of the truck to prepare his boat without putting it in park and it rolled into the lake.
pulled up to the boat launch to check things out, got back into the truck and instead of putting it into reverse he puts it in drive
just a few guesses bc those are the most common occurrences of people who drive through banks, gas stations, etc... my $.02

wouldnt you hate for this to happen to you. even more if someone was standing there taking snaps or video of your stupidity then post it on the net? its still pretty funny. who knows how it happen?
