I am looking to make a 12 foot push pole for my FoldCat boat. Has anyone made one and where did you get the fiberglass pole, or what did you use in place of the fiberglass pole??

Cabela's offers a 12 foot fiberglass pole, but we use an aluminum pole. Got it made at a welding shop.

Good idea pat. If you get the pole you can buy a pointed end and yoke end to make a good push pole. They have kits at bass pro and cabelas

You gotta stay a little diligent, find the surplus sales at the school districts. I got mine ten years ago in Houston. They are quite stout.

When I bought my boat it came with a 12' push pole made out of 2-1/2" pvc, had a cap on the bottom not to fill up with water, and a curved handle up top. Seemed like a pretty effective and inexpensive way to do it, but I would rather use the trolling motor, call me a little lazy. You could make it out of PVC for less than 20.00.
