My cousin that works at adademy just called and said that H2O has a new swim bait out. He said that they are shaped like a bluegill. Three colors Bluegill, tilapia, and sunfish, he says they have one of the most realistic paint jobs he has ever seen.....headed down to my local store on my luch i see if i can't find a few....hopefully i return with baits and pics?

I haven't seen the new swimbaits, but one of the Academy stores in OKC has a new jerkbait. It kind of looks like a LC Pointer 100 DD. They had it in American Shad, Ghost Minnow, Shadtreuse, Baby Bass and a gold black back. It says 6-8 feet and it's a suspending model. I had to snag a couple of course!

Found the Sexy Shad and Sexy Melon jerkbaits at another OKC Academy. They also had both sizes of the Tilapia swimbait, the large sunfish model, and the small bluegill. Had to get some of those too! The swimbaits look fantastic!!

I picked up a couple of the sunfish and they do look awsome. Have not gotten it wet yet though. And the "paint" isnt paint but rather a screenprint so they are all perfect.

Headed to the swimming pool this evening to see what they look like hahaha

I found the new swimbaits in Victoria on Father's Day weekend. They have 2 sizes- a 4 1/2" and a 3 1/2". The paint jobs are good and the action is also. I have not thrown them except to see who they swim- and I am impressed so far. Best of all- they sell for less than $10 a bait. I promise you a Rayburn bass will eat them when swim bait time arrives.

Are these just new colors? Or are they a different body shape than the jointed swimbaits that came out about 2 months ago?
