I was out there this morning from about 7:45 to 10:30,,tried every combo of lures I have, top waters, Texas rig worms, spinners, rattlers, cranks... I didn't get nothing. I finally got fed up and just started catching some Bluegills with a 1/8 Oz chartreuse spinner/worm (about 10-15) just for the fun of actually catching some fish. Catching Bluegills is much better than fishing for LMB.  What do you guys fish with out here? After not fishing for several years, all my fav spots are basically gone, I think I need some serious help, I'm having doubts about my LMB fishing skills.

Bassitup....you have my admiration from a far...always fishing while I have to work...you find em and let a brother know so I can just show up and catch some with ya...I am tempted to play hookie from work pretty dang quick...I hear the swine flu is back..

I managed to bank two bass after pulling out the last resort bait,,,,,,,the infamous spinnerbait.

I'm gonna go fish that area with my fly rod and see how it goes. Just got back from a trip to the san marcos and caught tons of fish. Not ready to quit.

Yeah I have fished there many years ago...I use to catch alot of perch and small bass in that hole.....But I think now its all marked "NO TRESPASSING"...

They have a gas rig erected there now, I haven't really looked at it up close but I did see today, there are some no trespass signs.
