Not sure if this is the right section.
My boss wants me to take him on Labor day to Fairfield lake. I'm free tomorrow to prefish. What do i use? where do i go and get bait? Live shrimp? Any help would be great.

Yes, the ramp is in the park. There are two, but the first one is closed. To get to the second one, do NOT turn left at the boat ramp sign just past the office. Instead, continue on straight towards the campgrounds and the road dead-ends at the ramp that is open.

Thank you, I spoke with Jackie while he was cleaning fish. I caught 6 and kept 3. the largest was 15 lbs 14 oz. I will post picture soon. they are hard to clean. When you get the filets do you try and remove some of the red meat? That is what i do with Stripers.

The state park seemed really nice. You also get a hot breeze off the lake. Water temp at 98 degrees where i was at. someone told me it was 106 in another spot.
