Here's a few pics of what I caught on a recent trip to South Padre. The night photo was taken at White Sands Marina in Port Isabel where we stayed. I caught that off the back pier at night. I kid you not I really did catch a dead fileted fish. I reeled it in and everything. We had a great laugh with this one. Other pic is of a whiting off the surf. The trip wasn't really for fishing but I threw the rods out a few times and had a great time at the island.  Surf pulled my line off to the left but the spider weight held great and was actually directly in front of the rod way out there. No luck though and too many people in the way.  WTF? 
I may not always be right but I'm never wrong.

I hooked a dead bass once. The strong current pulled it hard enough to load my rod up in the holder.
