Try the Fina Docks across from the mouth of the Port A marina. They hang close to structure and old rust structure seems to be favored.

They are line and hook wary so use light mono leaders and small hooks. Live shrimp is best.

their teeth are tough on light line, so check it often.

Directly across the Lydia Ann channel from the lighthouse there is an old pier. You can see the pilings on the shore. We caught a bunch of mangrove snapper there in July. It's a much easier spot to fish than the Fina docks.

There is an old wreck in the Lydia Ann Channel too that if you can fish right down next to it where the water goes from 6 foot to 25 feet you can snag a sack full there.

It sounds like these locations mentioned are not accessible for the shore angler is this correct? Must have a boat to fish these spots? Thanks
