We haven't tried them yet. The bait shop near Tawakoni is always out of them

I heard they are one of the better baits, but they are hard to find and get ahold of.
In Wyoming we use to drop a net to the bottom with a hotdog in the mesh and pull it up after a few minutes and we would have them in the net trying to get that hotdog

haha nice!
I know stores sell them live- like Fiesta and stuff, not sure how expensive they are though.
Gonna have to swing by one of them and pick some up and give em a try.

Tried them a few times when they were in season, they are hard to find now. I did catch a 10# flathead on them

Krogers sells'em only when there in season. Its like 1.99 a Lb. Be ready to catch anything in it though. Carp,buffalo and drum like mudbugs too.

They work real good in South Texas,I like to use the smaller ones.Hook them in the tail,they live longer.

when are they in season? i got a few traps sitting out over night. last week only thing i caught was a 12 ft. bullhead

I havn't looked or anything, but this might just be a World Record, I havn't ever heard of a 12' Bullhead!!!
