Not a bad day on Canyon lake. Fished up the river from 8 to noon. Caught them all on jigs from 8-15 ft deep. They were all the same size, a little over 13".

Caught several gooderns on the Cranes Mill dock two or three days ago. My buddy got a 16.5"...I also limited on whites...great night of fishing. I figured the river would be filling up quickly with slabs, perhaps I will drag out the pontoon. What colors worked for you? Caught all of mine on chartreuse 1/16 tube...around 20 ft. down.

"Ahhh, yes yes...who has time? Then again, if we never take time, then how can we ever have time?"

chartreuse/white, I tried a few brushpiles close to the bank in 2-3 ft but couldn't find anything that shallow yet. I suspect they'll move up to spawn pretty soon.

Naggler, that's a real good night of fishing - I heard there were still a lot of whites to be found around the pier / mouth of the river area.

I hope I can get out there again this weekend.
