Cut the hook portion off a jig last night, no not a Jigum  , but rather a basic Wally World maribou, and was practicing down the hall way at home. Was making a bit of progress until my 7 year old daughter and the cat discovered what I was doing. Practice detiorated from that point forward. Edit: Great idea redfin! I wonder if Matthew can make me up a barbless jig with lots of extra feathers and maybe even a small jingle bell.

The cat will help...just close your eyes and wait for the "thump" indicating a strike to help you with the feel...

I tried to re-line a reel last night... until the cats & kids spotted me. That's o.k. cause I'm always looking for a reason to log some time in my garage.
