Just bought a kayak and was wondering if anyone is kayaking around Denton? Been out a couple of times but still haven't caught anything.

I love fishing at/around Ray Roberts. I own a yak so if you want to do some fishing give me a hollar.

I bought a ok prowler trident 11. I like it because of the rod storage department and it is very stable. I usually goto ray bob. I finally got my anchor system and my fish finder put on but have not been out yet to try it. Hope I get to go next week if it's not raining.

+1.

brazos = good.
greenbelt on 380 is OK.
North Lakes Park in Denton is good. Lots of NICE fish in it. I caught over 20 one morning last year with the biggest pushing 6lbs.

drinking pink rabbits

Brazos is a good location but when you live 10 minutes from Ray Roberts it's hard not to go up there and to the green belt, I forgot about North Lakes Park

I am planning on going to the Brazos sometime soon. I will probably hit up North Lakes sometime this week or weekend. Are there any catfish in North Lakes??? Ive caught a few bass on top waters but never really tried worms or jigs. What are you guys catching them on??

I live on 380 about 15 minutes east of denton at paloma creek. I've not fished ray bob yet but would like to give it a shot. Been kayak fishing for a couple of years now.
