This is my first post here, but did attend Earnest'seminar in Grapevine by the way thank you Earnest for the great info.I have been building a few condos and scouting my local waters, joe pool, where it seems creek channels are few and not very steep or definate. I have found much steeper shore lines, coves, and under water points 13-20 ft in a very short distance. Some of these areas are clear of timber and facing open water.I am not really certain these are good spots?Any help in what to look for ? Thanks

The bridge pillars adjacent Lynn Creek Marina would be good. By the way, W H A T is up with all the grass/weeds in Joe Pool. Almost chocked my motor down on the way back into the ramp this past week!!
