.....or do they usually go together in terms of stocking lakes?

Without checking all the stocking reports I would go out on a limb and say no. At least I don't know of any.

Hm. Seems like any lake that would be worthwhile to stock hybrids in would have a population of sandbass already.

Calaveras and Braunig? Fairfield used to be stocked with hybrids and there are no white bass there...so mabey those other pwr plant lakes.

yeah calaveras and braunig for sure have hybrids with no whites.

I've never seen a TPWD stocking report say they stocked them little devils anywhere. Proctor has been taken over by them and pretty much ruined the hybrid fishing. For me anyway. I talked to the TPWD and asked them where they came from and they mentioned an illegal stocking that took place at Leon up stream. I realize they are fun game fish for lots of folks but mostly an aggravation for hybrid and striper fishermen.

Here's the one for Coleman .... I was there last week .... In the evenings the hybrid tear the entire lake up .... I could not look in any direction and not see a school .... It's a small lake, but full of fish ........
