Its very common to catch em on Belton.When the bite is on,you'll catch more smallies than blacks.And there are some nice ones out there too.

Yea they love curly tail grubs, small crank baits and any crawdad imitator.

Sweet! My buddy and I went out this mornin and launched at the ramp by Franks Marina. Most of mine were caught on red bug on shakey heads. thumb I got june bug, just never tried em at night! And yes red top lady, Belton is FULL of smallies. When it gets cold, all you need is a jig! thumb
