I would like to start pouring worms. I read several articals about building mold ,so I'll start making one soon. I read were you melt in a Microwave. It also says do not use metal flake in the Microwave. I was planning on using old worms like Zoom and stuff. Would it hurt to put zoom in the microwave. I just thought I would ask you'll. Thanks for anything.

You can actually use the zoom worms and a lot of others with the exception of gulp and power bait and stuff. My recommendation is if you are doing that please make sure the worms have not been exposed to water. If there is the slightest trace of water in the baits you try to remelt it could cause you some serious burns.

Proper safety equipment is a must. Good Gloves Long Sleeve shirt and pants Eye protection or face shield, and closed shoes. This stuff is 350 degrees and does not stop burning for a bit when it gets on you.

If you need any help give me a shout.

Bear is right about safety equip. A few of our guys have burned themselves when making lures for our company - so be very careful.

Also, if you want to do glitter lures, some will be fine in the microwave when you're heating the plastisol. Mix your plastisol and color and heat pretty thoroughly first, then add the glitter and give it a quick zap to make sure you're heated well. LureCraft's glitters do not have any problems in the microwave for a short period of time (less than 1 min).

if the saying "insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result" is true, then 99% of bass anglers are aparently insane.

Find a cheap micro for plastic. Don't use the one in the kitchen.

Making mold is pretty straight forward if you want a superior mold for common items like stick baits frogs ect you want a 2 pc mold and if you can afford it bears baits has the best hands down... +1 on getting a dedicated microwave and make these in a garage or out doors...
