I was having a bad morning tody and couldnt take anymore. So I went to walgreens to get some gum. I have tried some in the past and it tasted like wax, but I was desperate and I gave it another try.

Anyway, it worked great and tasted like real gum. Walgreens had their brand on sale for $14. Not bad.

I am going to quit for good this Friday, which is my anniversury, I can't spell anniversury but that is when I am quitting. I think the gum is going to be in my pocket that first week at least. Good advise.

I'm going to get some gum too.

It's a good thing my wife is going to quit smoking, I'd probably end out picking up an occasional smoke and I dont want to do that either.

I bought the gum at Wally world yesterday. Its funny how the mind works. The generic box was $32.00. I was standing there thinking this is nuts I am not going to spend that much money on this gum. At the same time I would buy two logs a week which was the same amount. I bought it and am on my first day of chewing it. So far so good. I guess the first advantage of it is that I cn drink coffee and chew gum at the same time.

I've been dip free for 7 days now and all I had was seeds, j ranchers, & regular gum. After the first three days of pheening it gets better.

I'm just saying, do what works for you but I can't see myself spending that much on wax that supposedly is gum just to quit.

Three days of pheening... I'm on day three. About to go freakin crazy. Been at the inlaws, without a drink, but all is getting better. Got home late this afternoon drank all the beer in my fridge, now sipping on a nice Reisling, listening to some classic Floyd.

I have to say that I am at the end of my first full day off snuff and the gum has made this much easier. Normally by now I would be looking to take off someone's head but I feel just fine. I know the gum is a short term thing I am going to have to get off of as well but I think stopping that nasty gum will not be as hard as the snuff and better for me and the people around me than going cold turkey.

I guess for me I was afraid of getting addicted to the gum, so I chose cold turkey. It's not for everyone, but it is working for me, and I haven't had one piece if bubble gum today, think i am better, we shall see!!!!
