TxDog: I've only fished from the bank but I haven't had much luck either catching catfish at GL. Seems to be a pretty common theme from what I've read here.

Usually I only go out for a couple hours and usually catch 3-15 channels.

Man I'm gonna have to change lakes or tactics I avg 10. The dink bite is real bad on Lake Waco right now. I just can't find the dinks from last year they should be 14"-16" now. It would be a great day for me to hit 25 (only did it 3x on Lake Waco in the creeks after a rain).

Thats like asking somebody how much money they make a year. Good luck getting the real skinny on this question. I catch on average 1 to 2 a night. but thats getting skunked on some and then catching 10 in one night.

I'd say I would average 15 each time. I haven't fished more than 4 hours. My fish weight average is 1.5 lbs

I just got back from a quick trip and I cleaned 3. Well below average bu tit is what it is. I caught 10 but could not get anything worht a darn tonight. I had good bait, shad and Dk blood but could not find whree they were. I think the front and North wind threw something off. It was a great evening to be out and am glad I got to go. Overall, it was a bad trip for the freezer.
