Bream, sun fish, perch, blue gill........

You'll hear them called all of the above, kinds like how Texans call all soda pops "coke".

In space, nobody can hear you scream for ice cream.

Sorry rrhyne56, but I just had to reply..

BHR,

First, when you paste the link from your Photobucket account it takes up virtually no "DRIVE" space on the site... the "DRIVE" space is in your Photobucket account. How 'bout we use the word "MEMORY" instead of "DRIVE" space, that would make this old programmer feel much better!

Second, the main reason you re-size your photo to 640 x 480 resolution is so that you don't kill the display rate of your site members that still have dial-up internet access. Here's another word for you... "RESPECT." Hey, isn't that a song?

BHR there is a box next to the correct size in photo bucket to check and it will default( I leave mine on this setting) all newly loaded pix to the preferred size for viewing on this forum. I love your pix, but it is annoying to scroll to view whole pic. Please keep posting all the small water catches. All my small water is just dust right now realmad bang. Will someone please let it rain 6" over a 48 hour period in this county flehan

back to the spot, that is just a few min from my work. I used to fish that pretty often. Yes there are some LMBs, never caught any real big though. That place has gotten so overgrown lately.

John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

I love these finds. More than just the fish it is such a treat to find spots that are, as you said, teeming with life where it seems like you'd hardly expect it.

And of course it's fun to draw those strange looks while you're waving a fly rod around in a spot where no one thinks you'd bother or maybe dare.

The strange looks are awesome, although there is a big bridge there. I hope I don't have anyone rubber necking run into something, I see people looking down as they drive by...

I will be back in Dallas this weekend (the Permian Basin is getting a bit old) and plan on fishing as much as I can.

I'll dig a couple LMB's, maybe a catfish and for sure a bunch more long eared sunfish out of there. I'll post pics, and make sure they are a bit smaller than the last set, I promise.
