Here is the problem, While fishing the C-Rig I'm having to re-tie the knot at the swivel about every 20 cast or so. The line is fraying at the swivel where the glass bead and weight sit while in retrive. I'm using 15lb bass pro fluro with a stainless steel barrel weight with standard red glass bead. Any suggestions? Also what is the best knot to tie fluro?

Thanks in advance

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the boat looking like an idiot.

Try using a brass clacker right above the swivel and a higher quality bead. A super strong knot with fluro is the double san diego jam

Most likely your bead is cutting your line. Change bead type or go to a brass clacker and your problem should be gone. If problem persists then it is your weight, again change weight styles.

Quit using a bead.

I stopped using a bead about 7 years ago. You dont fray your line as much, and it truthfully doesnt make a difference on your fish numbers.

I have honestly caught more and bigger fish without a bead, than with.

Just my opinion.

I have had the same problem fishing rocky points on Grapevine. It's the glass beed cutting into the line every time you drag it over rough surfaces. I changed to a 30lb. braid for my main line because of the durability, no stretch and you can feel more bites. Use a mono for the leeder because it floats. I think they make a rubber spacer you can buy to prevent this from happening. I would just stay cautious and try the braid. I use a polimer knot for everything. Hope this helps!

With stainless steel or tungsten weights I wouldn't use glass beads because the hard metal weights will chip the glass beads. Besides the hard metal weights don't need the beads to make noise. They will make a plenty of noise just tapping against a swivle. Switch to a weight that has a concave bottom like a bullet weight that way the out edges of the concave end of the weight will hit against the swivle rather than slamming against the knot on the swivle. You just need to use a swivle large enough so the weight's outer edge hits the swivle with out touching the knot.

Switching to braid for a main line will help but all you may have to do is get some different beads

X2
Also, use plastic beads as a spacer to keep the weight from hitting the knot. You still get some of the noise but not the glass cutting.

Go to a Carolina Keeper and you can remove the issue with the swivel all together. You can also go from three knots to one.

no beads, no clacker, peg the sinker. eliminates most of the line wear.

U can use normal craft beads and the hole will go around your knot, and the edges are curved so that helps too.also,LFT makes a tungsten clacker that doesnt fray line

The steel weights are fraying your line.

I agree with Mark, get rid of the steel weights.
