Did you catch any keepers or just those little ones?

WOW! That's some pile of fish.

Ernest thats a nice mess of Crappie. I really would like to go with you sometime. Cant wait for the video that is coming. I am not too far from you on CC. I am in Clear Creek. If you ever need a partner ............................

My Father and I built 15 condos in January and sank them under the dock here at CC. We started catching Crappie about two weeks later and it only got better. They were small at first but continued to get bigger as the season went on. It slowed down a bit when it was really hot but picked up again as it started cooling down at night in September.

They steadily got bigger as the weather cooled but the lake level was dropping quickly (as I am sure you know, it is way low now) and we are still catching Crappie, although the numbers are slowly decreasing.

I kid you not we have caught approx 300+ keepers from that dock since January. We never had anywhere near that much luck with crappie from the dock prior to the condos. Although the dock which was about 7' of water in Jan is now at the deepest no more that 4' I just caught 5 nice keepers in the 45 minutes before dark tonight.

I am here to testify that IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME!!!!! These things really work. I am planning on placing some in deeper water but as long as I can catch a cooler full without getting the boat out I admittedly do not have a lot of motivation to do so just yet.

Do you have any condos under your dock Ernest and how well do the Crappie hold there? Do you have any ideas for places here in Clear Creek? I will do all the work in exchange for you expertise. Any ideas, or help, would be greatly appreciated.......

Cant wait for the video...........

Ernest touches on condo building and placement in the video which will be out on Monday 11-17. However, we hope to have a couple of more in depth videos out in the future, which cover some topics in much greater detail. We will be taking orders for the video Crappie Fishing 101 beginning Thursday 11-13-03. 20.00 plus tax, if you pick them up at a seminar. add 2.75 before tax, if you want it shipped to you.
