Do you ever eat the tilapia out of that lake, little bro?
How many plecos did you net? Sam Coleman got the tilapia and it was a big one I gave him the reds too.. I sold 7 plecos 50 bucks not bad..

Al, your not doing anything wrong...You can't expect to catch fish like that all the time! It takes time invested usually. I'd bet he was downrigging, and in the right spot  ...but like i say al get you some crankbaits DD22's. Plus a nice depth finder works too..  ...BTW redfishon, no report? did you get these near 181 cove? . I want a lake record wont catch that trolling.I have not trolled in months all you catch is the dinks 20-27 inch. tell Manny that LOL... sorry about saying you were trolling. I guess i would believe you my biggest trolling is only 20lb's. I hope one day to get a bigger one. I have been trying to use live bait alot more lately too in hopes of getting some brutes. Maybe ill see you out there.

I dont think Manny was trolling when he cuaght that 40inch fish last year he might tell you that bet you it was the left side of the damm were they try to spawn maybe a shad rap or a swim bait. He is the guide there but still bet I can hang with him at the cleaning table used to show Jeff up alot out there. Whats the point I just want the lake record. I could score a catch and release or a fly rod record without an issue but not what I am after. Here are some bigger ones..I know most of the regulars out there,But I have never talked to Manny. I have got many 35-40 inch fish out there but didnt have the weight to get a record.

REDFISHON, That is simply an incredible display of fish. Laterz, dafanman It was need less.They were cuaght on light line and wouldnt swim only reason they were kept. Rather have 20-25 inchers ..

yeah, i wasn't trying to say he caught it trolling. I know he didn't and he never told me he did... but i do know he caught a fish 1lb. short of his record a month ago or so trolling. A client caught it. I agree your display of fish is niiiice!! Im gonna keep trying my darndest to learn live bait fishing more because I get tired of trolling too. Thank you for showing up Jeff, i hated that guy HAHA. Keep up the good work sir.

Nice catch! I went there this AM. First time. I saw a guy in the parking lot. Said he fished all night and they had a cooler full of Reds. He said they caught them at the wall. I found the wall but how do you fish it? Looked like they were throwing spoons or something.

you can fish it with balloons, or alot of people throw spoons or slabs...either or! Put ya some good size shad or tilaps on the balloon rig.
