Haven't seen anything like this since I been in Texas, feels like I'm fishing in the Bahamas. I would actually consider drinking it if times were rough...

I swear it does that after it's "treated". Same thing happened a couple of years ago and the grass was gone in days... I actually saw a few strands of hydrilla growing near the Loyd Park ramp. I guess someone else did as well.

It tends to get that way in the summer on the lower end when the wind stays light from the south for several days or weeks. I have several deep spots that turn on REAL good when it gets that color but any stain in the water & its not quite as good. I have been hearing about grass coming back in places so it wouldn't suprise me if they put something in the water to prevent it.

could it be that "blue" stuff they put in ponds to kill light penetration which kills the grass?

I like that phrase "Tropical". Gives the lake a touch of class!

Dan is a Fork regular...I'm sure Fork will treat him bad since he "cheated" on her.

Could be worse. come to Lavon.....no grass and usually can't see more than few inches below the water. I'd kill for clear water close to home.
