I have been using BTS on my whole rig including the trailer for 6 months now. I rarely wash the boat anymor. Just a wipedown with a damp towel at the ramp or when I get home and water spots are gone and boat sparkles. I am on the water 240 plus days a year and it has really made the job of keeping the boat presentable easy. Another great use is spray it on life vests that have a tendency to get moldy in the compartments between trips if they are damp. Keeps the mold from forming.

I have used BTS for several years now and it is by far the best boat care product to come along in years! If you don't believe its better than anything you are currently using, stop me out at Lake Fork and I'll give you some to try out on your rigs. The difference in shine and protection it provides over similar products is drastic. Its the real deal!!

Hey all. FYI, Cameron over at Lake Fork Marina just ordered a new shipment of BTS. So if youre going to Lake Fork, stop in, say hi and pick up some BTS (less the shipping).

I used the teaser bottle I received from a Cull'm or Keep'm tournament on a section of my boat because of this thread. Easy to apply and I had a hazing problem that it cleared up. I'll be getting more. Who in the Plano/Richardson area has it?

John,

The hazing you mention is common on the first application of BTS. It is the old wax and dirt that the BTS is bringing out of your gel coat. Just rinse it off and towel dry and only the shine will be left. You can read more about what BTS does and how to use it at our website at: BTS Protectant. You can also look for dealers near you on the site.

Thanks! The BTS cleared up a hazing problem I was having. I could wax the areas and after a day of fishing in the bright sun the hazing would come back. I put the BTS on and so far it looks perfect. I even applied a stripe of BTS shine through one hazing area that is still clearly visible. That's why I need to find some to finish the shine on my boat. grin

I ordered on-line. Thanks!

I've used wax for years but a cloudy film enveloped my boat every time a couple days after waxing.

Here are a couple pictures of what BTS did with my boat. A before with a visible BTS stripe and and after where I fully applied BTS. Impressive since I took the pictures after two days of direct sun exposure. The BTS shine did not change.

Before BTS - Port side cloudy with BTS stripe

After BTS - Starboard side
