I know this isn't a kayak but if any of you have a local Hobie shop who has one of these in stock would you please let me know. You can have them contact me if it's easier at kellydenham at hotmail dot com.

Thanks a million!! laugh laugh

If you aren't familiar with it, it looks like this:

Check with Backwoods in Ft Worth. I have seen one in stock there on several occasions.

Got an email from Backwoods that prompted me to post this. Hobie has discontinued it. They have the F/C 60 in stock but it's only rated for 250 lbs. This one is rated for 350 lbs.

I'm hoping a small Hobie shop somewhere in Texas has one in stock or a person bought one and doesn't use it.

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

I have been thinking about getting one of those for awhile. Never anticipated that Hobie would discontinue them. I will have to be on a quest now myself.

Cabelas now has the Tahoe Fisher back in stock. I've ordered one of those.

Thanks for the suggestions/help.

Not sure why it doesn't show up in the list thru the website. It showed up on the "also looked at" list while I was looking at another. If you click the link (in blue text) I posted it'll come up. I have received email confirmation from Cabelas acknowledging it's in stock, so that part is confirmed.

Their are also 10 reviews from other owners listed on the link.

Yes sir you are right. I went straight to the website and wasn't listed. I'm hoping for a buyer (guns) so I can either buy this one or the mini rogue, lol! In the meantime, I'll just wait a bit.

I really like the looks of the Tahoe Fisher. It is heavier than the Hobie, but the seat looks way more comfortable and the slots for the oars are a nice touch. Plus it is half what the Hobie cost.
