I'm going back to a private lake in Oct. It has lots of hydrilla, duckweed, downed timber and a bunch of hawgs. At that time of year, what would be you color of choice for the bull ribbitt. I have the watermelon/red with the pearl belly and Academy also has plain watermelon red, white, and black with red flakes. fish

No one can really say without a little trial and error on this lake. All of the colors you mentioned are good producers so take several of them and let the bass tell you what they like.

When in doubt it is always a good choice to go black. It silhouettes well, it is effective most anywhere and under most conditions. This has been many years ago but when asked about worm color one famous angler replied, "I don't care what color it is as long as it is black."
