Well dang. Plans may have changed... The reunion may be moved due to other issues. Hopefully we can stay on the trip.
Guys, unfortunately my family has planned a family reuinion the same weekend at the trip. Dad and I are very sorry but we will not be able to make it.
Hope you guys tear them up.
That also means there are two spots available for those on the waiting list! TBBEC 09 Oct 24th!

TBBEC 09 Oct 24th! [/quote] Since we will be making the TFF charter it will have to cover my October fishing. I have another trip in november and wish I could just go on them all. Hopefully work will let off a little this winter and let me fish a bit more.

Just out of curiosity, what set ups are everyone bringing on this trip? I would like to get a handle on what to bring, and more importantly, what to leave at home. I own more gear than should be legal in any state and always seem to overpack for these trips, would like to keep the u-haul to a 10footer as opposed to the 26footer I normally need for these trips. My current thoughts are as follows: Jiggin sticks: 2 (200g and 400G) poppin rods: 2 (7'6 OTI and 8' black devil 200) deep drop: 1 (custom rig with SR50) chunking: 1 (atd 50w on 130class cal-star) Gonna try and keep it to one tackle bag for jigs and poppers(big bag) What are you bringing???????

Dewayne- you're right on the mark, 'cept leave the big pop rod & deep drop rig @ home. there is usually a TON of current below 300' out @ BV, which makes it tough for a 1000' drop, and you can get along fine w/ a 50# class popping rig. Just me, but I try to keep it to 3 or 4 rigs & 1 big bag.

I would bring both popping rods, both jigging and use one rod for chunking/ deep drop. But that's just me. I like to have a back up for popping and jigging.
