I store mine in a mini-fridge in the garage. Paid - I think, $60 for it at WalMart. Works for me.

the stuff is allready spoiled how can it go bad mix it up never throw it away Exactly. Store mine in my boat inside a tin boat storage year round...just stir it up and go catching Save the fridge for cold ones

i think you could mix up some flour in it to thicken it up some or just keep it in the fridge
i like fishing but i love catching

You can also add some dryer lint, to help it stay on the hook.

corn starch also helps thicken it up just not too much it will turn to a rock

You learn something new every day. I'm 75 years old and been using punch bait for a long time, and this is the first time I've heard of using dryer lint to thicken the bait and help keep it on the hook better. Great idea, and I can accummulate a ton of that stuff.

I used to add stuff from the paper shredder to mine. Cotton balls also work well.
