Went out after work put the boat on the water at 1715 (or 5:15pm for non military). Wind kicked up about the time I arrived at my first spot. I couldn't get a bite in the wind until about an hour before dark. Caught 1, had 3 wrap me around submerged brush and break me off. Fished an hour after dark and couldn't get a bite walkin the dog. O well just glad to a get the rod bent a few times.

Fished around the main lake inlet to army rec fishing the grass line in 16 to 18 feet. I went again on saturday and caught one gaspergoo and one dink. Was with my buddy we both missed a few but had fun being on the water making fun of each other missing the few bites we had. I just can't seem to find the fish when the water gets above 90.

Look for Fish off shore. 22ft seems to be the magic number on the bend in the summer. There are numerous humps and ridges on the main lake in 15-22ft of water. The Jesse lowes bay area is a good place to look.

Also pull out ur map and look for a number or creeks coming together. Road beds. Humps. Anything. Lots of numbers been coming off brush tops
