do tournament trails have a policy in place for boats when they leave a lake that has zebra mussels. Just wondering since Texoma has them now.
It could be bad if someone (tournament, non-tournament, skier, etc) left texoma with some water still in the livewell or bilge and went to lewisville the next day.
Just wondering out loud since I am not fishing this morning.
What was that?

I think many of us are concerned about the zebra mussels problem. I am not one to favor government regulation, but I don't know of any other way to have any chance at all of preventing the further spread of them. It will take a large task force to inspect all boats leaving Texoma, but that is what needs to be done. Oh, on your slogan, how about "trying to catch as many fish as I can before I croak."

It won't take long for them to surface new places.

I am not one to favor government regulation, but I don't know of any other way to have any chance at all of preventing the further spread of them. Stopping the spread of zebra mussels is easy--all we have to do is ban use of boats at more than one lake. You'll either rent a boat each lake you go to or, if you own a boat, you'll only get to use it at one lake. Period. Obviously, that's not going to happen, so we'll continue to have "unprotected boating" and continue to spread zebra mussels like an STD.
