NWS for language... Raccoon was in a dumpster at the boat ramp on Lake Alan Henry over the weekend...had apparently been there a few days. I guess he fell in and trapped himself in there. A few TFF members decided to come to the Rescue just like the A TEAM Chewing up Hotmod's net...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umLwFifgtCAHold my beer and watch this!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKKo2VEgUZ4

You took that poor guy out of his summer home. For a raccoon stuck in a dumpster he wasn't doing very well! I guess he thought he was getting into the dumpster for some good eating food, when instead he fell in the wrong one and landed in the dumpster full of beercans. The one full of food was next to this one

Nice NVR (net video and release). You didn't even have to hand the beer off. Nicely done.

That was 9:00 AM after fishing all night & Jarred did not spill a drop of his "Breakfast".
A bad day on the lake is much better than a good day at work!

I used to go camping occasionally in Brazos Bend State Park with family when I lived in Houston. One day I noticed that every dumpster in the park had either a large tree branch or a 10 foot 2x6 in it diagnally from the bottom corner to the top and hanging out. I asked a Park Ranger and she said that they find dead coons in dumpsters every summer and who knows how many get "dumped" in the winter time. So the park volunteers and Rangers put the branches hanging out so they can get out. The coons know where the good food is, but if it's hot and they can't get out . . . . they are doomed.
