My old Ranger with a 150 will do that, with a tailwind on the highway, but she gets kinda squirrely beyond that...

Maybe 72 on the dash speedo. I had a 1992 R72 w/115 merc that would run 72, then I had to take it off the trailer when I got to the lake.

My old Ranger with a 150 will do that, with a tailwind on the highway, but she gets kinda squirrely beyond that... my sprint does about that but gets a little wind resistance around 70... then some forgotton water bottles start flying out and i have to pull the truck over.

Actually, some of these little rides were fairly quick. We don't think it would run that in today's world on GPS. Though back in the early 90's some were pretty strong in comparison. They really had more potential then than today's we feel.
