Amy and I are going fishing on Grapevine tomorrow and her little 17 year old friend wants to go with us just to sunbath. Does she have to have a license if she does not touch a rod & reel? We will be in a boat.
I have fished before with my license-less wife sunbathing but never really been clear if it was legal or not.

I heard a good story about this. A woman dropped her fishing husband off and went back out to get some sun. All the fishing equipment was in boat although she was not fishing. A warden came by and was going to write her a ticket. she explained that she was just getting a tan. He said that she had all the equipmet and was going to write a ticket. She thought a second and told the warden she was going to accuse him of sexual assault. He said WHAT??? He said he did not touch her. She replied " you have all the equipment"He left her alone.
