Where would I get a transducer cable for my Garmin 140. Looks like there is a nice nick in the cable and I have nothing on the screen. Seems to be no power getting to the finder it self. Battery is fine and fully charged.

splice it not like you can hurt it, cut the nicks out and splice it use heat shrink

Ebay, any nick in the cable will let in noise.

If there is no power getting to the unit the trouble is not
in the transducer cable it would have to be in the power lead
or ground Check fuse first then run power check and ground check
on the power cable.

if there is an inline fuse (there should be), open it up and make sure the contacts are not rusty. Little sand paper or steel wool should do ya.

a new cable will run you about 50-75 dollars. you mine as well get a whole new set-up. the garmin you have is about $119 bucks new. and like they said..... if you have a nic in it, you might get more noise than needed.
