Fishing has been good the last couple of weeks on RR. Took a friend of mine from work this morning to RR, kept 40 and 8 of them were 1 1/2 lbs. to 2 lbs. Starting this week I will be offering 4 hour trips on Ray Roberts like Jerry did at Lavon begining at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and you clean your own fish. If you want minnows you will have to buy your own, but you won't need any. Fish have been real aggressive, if you put it in front of them they will bite. Also sand bass trips are available, if it's not to windy. These trips will be Monday thru Friday. If you are interested give me a call at 972-816-2481 or email me at Paul@Northtexasguideservice.com. Calling is the fastest and best way to get in touch with me.

Holy smokes, he posted on the forum! Man ,that is so cheap that I could leave my boat at home and probably come out even if I found someone else to split it with me. I just find it hard to fish out of a triton, and me not getting to be on the trolling motor. I am afraid I would get front ended quite abit! You know, Jerry would never do me that way!

All these trips are the same as Jerrys....$100 total for 1-2 people starting at 4:00 p.m. and fishing till 8:00 p.m. I furnish the poles you bring the cooler to take the fish home in.

Paul,

Haven't talked with fishinClyde yet on the phone (will this evening), but is Wednesday or Thursday eve still open? We're still tossin' the idea around.

Just curious. Not sure i'd take any home or bring a cooler, as i'm the only 1 who'd have to filet em' all and eat em' (don't ask why, just the way it is). I also have both a dock shootin' rig and an 8 or 9' vertical set up. Anyway, stayed tuned.

Took a trip Tues. with Paul caught lots of fish and had 35 keepers. Learned alot and one of the best guide trips that I have taken. Anyone wanting to learn how to catch crappie on RR needs to go out with Paul he is enjoyable to fish with and shares his knowlege of the lake.
Looking forward to using all I learned and see if I can put it to use. Thanks for the trip and look foward to going again sometime.

Fish Killer, i'm in SW corner of Keller (like almost N Fort Worth) there between Fossil Ridge and Keller Central H.S.

Maybe we'll have to hook up for some crappie fishing sometime.

BigCat,
I am just south of 1709 and Davis, but i work off of 35 and 820 so were not far at all. If you have fished Weatherford much, then I know you have seen me. I am the really really tall younger (29) guy with all the old men that are regulars (sorry Goose!) I also fish Eagle Mountain alot, got in on a boat slip up there two years ago now.
I am always fishing somewhere and at anytime.

FishKiller,

Yep, I know where ya talkin' about. I work just E of I-35W/just S of N Loop 820 behind the plethora of hotels at the NWS office.

I love Weatherford and you've probably seen me a time or two, but i'm not "in" on either slip there or at EML.

However, guy named "sac-a-lait" is getting a slip going at EML that we'll proabably have paid for starting this Fall. So look forward to that, though i'd love to be in on that slip by the crappie house at Weatherford. Peaceful, country, small lake with little fishing pressure. Way I like it.

Hopefully we will all be able to renew out there at EML. The new manager took over last week, and i dont know how much he likes anyone but the slip holders on the docks. I am out there everyweekend with a bunch of friends skiing, and he has already posted a few rules aobut non-lease'ers on the docks.
The slips at weatherford are great, and rumors have it that Steve doesn't want anyone fishing from them. SO hopefully that one will work out for all of us there too. Have to wait and see.
We are building a new plant/office just around the corner from you, just south of Meacham and Beach.
We need to get together and hit RayRob with Paul, and see what we can do.

Give me a call to schedule something if you want to. I am booked the rest of this week. Next week I'm already booked for Monday, July 3rd and Thursday, July 6th. My cell number is 972-816-2481. Because of my schedule, it's best to catch me around 9:00 - 9:30 p.m. And yes you can smoke on my boat.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Paul

Ratmo and Paul ,

Even though it is July 4th , if Tuesday is good for the both of you , that day would be best for me . Paul , check your email , I need your mailing address to mail you my part of the trip , we will use that as our deposit . I will mail the money after work tomorrow .

I got up early today and drove 85 miles to Lake Eddleman to check out that crappie barge today . I fished from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and only caught two keepers that I gave away and seven or eight smaller fish . I am ready to catch some decent size fish . I told two of the fisherman I met fishing there about Pauls offer . They agreed , this is a heck of a deal .

Ratmo , lets go Tuesday . By the time we are finished fishing and cleaning fish , we can head home before the drunks hit the road . Paul I will call you after 9:00 p.m. to confirm all this for Tuesday or to set up Wednesday if the 4th is already scheduled , either way , lets go get some slab crappie .
