Hey guys. Tell me what yall think. I do a lot of bank fishing and don't like my reels being stuck in the mud and sand. So While lookin for some rod pods I saw that they could be anywhere from 30 to 80 dollars or so plus shipping...
So, $13 dollars later here is what i got.

Perty nice! Now just install some straps on the reel end to hold them down and your golden.

Nice set up but if not by ur poles a fish could still take ur rod in. I use the pole holders walmart sells. They about $2. They have a spiral look to them, they work real good for me.

great set up it kinda looks like the euro set up, I would drop one end about 4" or so the tip of the rod is setting higher then the reel for more sensitivity...just my two cents...

Mouth's suggestion would also help keep from losing a rog if fishing with drag tight, which you probably aren't. You really should not lose a rod as long as they cannot fall off the side of the pod and your drag is set properly.
