Took a goup of 4 out to RC last evening. South end of lake was kind of dead around 6:00pm. headed up lake to pellican island area. We caught fish for 3 hours. Eary was slab time and later in afternoon was topwater time. We caugth over 150, some weere small however. Ended up catching a couple 16-17" hybrids in mix. I hooked a monster in 2' of water right before dark but he decided he wasnt having it and shook the bait. Fun afternoon. I havent been to RC in 2 years. Still fish in the same old haunts.

Hows the morning bite at RC?

havent been in mornings only made 1 evening trip. Im sure its good as long as weather and wind stays consistant

I've fished everyday this week except for today and the bite has been VERY GOOD a couple of days and only FAIR the others. Adam had a Party out today and again it was only FAIR. Even on just a Fair day, you can expect 25-50 keepers. The best bite was Tuesday & Thursday and occurred around 11AM till we left them biting after Noontime. Topwater action in midday, bigger fish on Slabs and lots of 16" Hybrids. THe action has occurred in different locations and not in the same one twice.

Burning lots of gas but when you find them, having lots of FUN. Fished Thursday with TFF'er Launcher 400 and a couple of locals that I partnered him with. Was one of the GOOD days!!!
Kept 65 Quality Whites and threw back that many or more!

Have one boat open on Thursday of next week and all other days booked. Openings the week of August 17th and even a boat open on Saturday, 22nd and 29th. We fish everyday except Sunday, but only doing morning trips till Fall. If you've not experienced Richland Chambers, you owe it to yourself. On a weekday, you share 45,000 acres with four or five boats.

Hey, I thought that fishing report sounded familiar

It was indeed a fun trip and Royce and Adam did a good job teaming up on the fish to keep two boats full of customers happy. That 11AM bite was great with a bunch of hard-pulling undersize hybrids and chunky sandies - - had trouble getting the slab to the bottom. Thanks for the trip Royce - - fun as always.
