Is the bite getting any better at the JP marina?
Me and the little lady plan on getting out there soon. Hope to see you & Lonnie slayin 'em.
Believe it or not, I was able NOT to lose a few of the jigs you gave me and plan on using them when I get out there.

I was lucky enough to fish with JiggingJohn yesterday. The wind was so bad that we decided to just stay close and fish JP (on the slip). Consider the front just had moved in on Thurs, we couldn't complain on the quantity and quality. We didn't keep any but I would say we easily had a good mess of fish had we kept them keepers. I managed to tug in (2) 1.5 lb right before I had to leave.

Thanks for a great day Mr. Stephen!!!

Billy, they are still in a mode to move in or out, i have seen several good ones caught mainly on minnows. I can still trick a few at this time of year but it will only get better. Look forward to seeing you and your better half out there.

John, if you plan on making a Bonham tripthis coming winter/spring let me know. Got interested when I heard what you and Lonnie did last season!! Went down to the marina this past weekend. I fished around Tom Shepards "home-away-from-home and only caught kitties. But, the little lady went down to your hole and caught several crappie (1 keeper). The Mundy brood were there, not doing to much!!
