thanks. try some 1" Lil Fishie on 1/16 oz lead head jig in the white/blue back color. also the ones with the vertical black stripes work wonders out there. those work well on the brush piles and also the old water intake structure up the lake. fish the outside pylons, if nothing( from 5 to 10' deep) then move on. you can get them at the old Olsens stoer in lake worth- think its called proam fishing now

lol. any other ones...sure. tons of them. I find them by watchin other ppl and sinkin my own. Watch the point at the end of the boat ramp by where you were fishing....take note when ppl have the little orange marker buoys out...mental note then go back later and find the brush. in that cove there are several brush piles..not just one. if you get bored just drift around with your trolling motor while watchin your graph(hopefully you have one rigged up with a transducer on your trolling motor). you will soon learn how to distinguish brush piles from bottom. then you will learn how to read the fish on it. If you get the time you may want to go fishing with Guy Skiner( a guide off here) he can teach you how to look for the brush. if you go with a guide- concentrate more on learning how to find fish and techniques rather than catchin them....once you learn how to find them-- catchin is the easy part.
